Platform policies

These Wink Platform Community Guidelines constitute an integral part of the Wink Platform Terms of Service of and supplement them as provided below.

Be Real

Wink Platform is not a place to create fake accounts for abuse, deception, or fraud. We encourage you to block or report any deceptive activity you encounter.

Show your real self in the app.

Impersonating other people, including celebrities, is prohibited and will result in a permanent account ban. We created Wink Platform to help people get to know each other and build genuine connections.

Be real: use your actual name and photos, and keep your profile information up to date. To help others trust that your profile is authentic, verify your profile with a photo. Verified profiles are given priority, increasing both your credibility and visibility within the community.

Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 to use Wink Platform. Any violation or suspected violation of this age limit will result in suspension of the account.

If you are communicating or suspecting to communicate with another user who is underage, you should report such a profile immediately. Withholding information will also be considered as a violation of these Guidelines.

Furthermore, by using the Wink App, you affirm that either you are at least 18 years of age or have been authorized to use the Services by your parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age and entered into these Terms on your behalf. If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, then you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity or organization to these Terms and you agree to be bound by these Terms on behalf of that entity or organization.

Show Respect to Others

Respect Privacy

If a user blocks you, don’t try to contact them from any other account. You are expected to respect every community member’s privacy.

Never pressure other users to share personal information unless they choose to do so voluntarily.
Please report any violations of these Guidelines using the in-app report function. Your reports help us keep Wink Platform and its users safe.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Everyone is entitled to be treated with respect. We maintain a firm stance against hate speech. While we stand for freedom of expression, any content that expresses discrimination based on, including but not limited to, appearance, race, color, sex, language, religious affiliation, political views, national or social origin, property, birth or other status, sexual orientation, or gender identity is prohibited.

Abuse, Harassment & Bulling

We strongly discourage any acts of physical abuse, intimidation, or bullying against other users. There is a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment of any kind, including blackmailing, threatening, self-harm and suicide, and verbal aggression in both video and text content.

Remember About Safety

Child Exploitation & Abuse

Wink Platform holds a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior that features, glorifies, promotes, or accommodates the sexual exploitation of children. Furthermore, Wink Platform does not allow images of unaccompanied minors to be shared in the app to prevent any potential abuse or misappropriation by others. It is prohibited to upload, store, produce, share, or entice anyone to share child sexual abuse material (CSAM), even if the intent is to express outrage or raise awareness about this issue.

Wink Platform has a strong moderation procedure to prevent any sharing or posting of child sexual abuse material, any violation of this Guidelines will result in a member being removed from Wink Platform and reported to the authorities. In compliance with different laws, if we become aware of apparent child sexual exploitation, child grooming, or child abuse, we will report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and other local appropriate authorities around the world indicated here.

Wink Platform users can easily report instances of abuse or assault in-app or on our website. We strongly encourage any user who believes they have been a victim of a crime to report it to law enforcement. Our team works to promptly investigate reported crimes, assess and take appropriate action, and fully cooperates with law enforcement in any investigation.

Sensitive Infirmation

Although Wink Platform is a safe place to communicate with others, please do not share publicly yours or anyone else’s personally identifiable information such as social security numbers, IDs or passports, home or work addresses, emails, passwords, financial information or location.

Messages & Spam

Copy-pasting messages to a great number of users and driving other users to external websites via a link or otherwise is not a good way to get around. Instead, check the profile information before sending messages to your matches and send something personal. That will certainly lead you to an engaging chat. Sending over repetitive messages may result in the suspension of the account.

Scamming

Predatory behavior of any kind is prohibited on Wink Platform. Any attempt to get other users’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity may lead to account ban. Sharing your own financial account information (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App etc.) for the purpose of receiving money from other users may result in permanent ban of your account. If you are asked for financial help in chats, please report such cases immediately. This will help us keep our users safe.

The user that attempts to deceive others and spread intentionally untrue information will be banned. Show your real self in the app. Impersonating other people in the app, including celebrities, is prohibited.

Sextortion

Be aware and secure yourself from sextortion: the scammer poses as a potential friend or partner on a social app, sends their own photos and asks for explicit photos, then threatens to share the images and conversations with the victim’s friends, family, or employer unless the victim sends money.

To avoid the risk of extortion and protect yourself from this scam, you may follow these recommendations:
Do not share explicit photos. If you decide to share such a photo, make sure your face is not visible or that it does not include details unique to you, such as tattoos.

Check who you’re talking to. Do a reverse image search of the person’s photo. If the photo is associated with another name or the details don’t match up, that’s a sign of a scam.

Don’t share personal information such as your phone number, email address, or social media profiles with someone you’ve just met on an app.

Never pay scammers to destroy photos or conversations — there’s no guarantee they will keep their word.

Services and Promotion

Wink Platform is a place for communication, fun and making friends, not for selling and advertising any goods or services. By these we mean:

Wink Platform is not a place for unsolicited advertising, promotional materials or other solicitation material, bulk mailing of commercial advertising or any actions alike.
It is not allowed to offer services in exchange for direct financial assistance or gifts, conduct research, or to promote anything on Wink Platform.
Sexual solicitation also includes any promotion of massage services, escort services, sharing of OnlyFans links, cam shows, PayPal links, sugar daddy/baby arrangements, Amazon or other wishlist links, or direct links or requests for donations.
It is also prohibited to flash money in the content you create for any purposes.
Sharing explicit sexual images/videos of someone else without their valid consent (this would include, namely: non-consensual distribution of intimate images, also commonly referred to as “revenge porn”) is prohibited. Any violation of this rule will result in your losing access to your account.

Illegal Content

Any media content that contains illegal actions or goods is strictly prohibited (that includes usage of cannabis and other substances, videos of someone committing a crime or doing).

Intellectual Property

Sharing content without the permission of its creator may be considered an infringement of intellectual property rights. When sharing something publicly, make sure you own the copyright. Every intellectual property infringement report will be taken seriously and may result in the permanent removal of the content in question from Wink Platform.

Illegal Actions with the Service

You must not exchange coins or gifts for any items or services that have any price or value.

Our Recommendations

Wink Platform app is the place for you to express yourself, show who you are and share your talents. We encourage you to share your photos and stories. Literally, do anything to show off your creativity that is in line with these Community Guidelines.
Please make sure that the content you are sharing is not violating these Community Guidelines. We recommend to take a look at examples of inappropriate content is NOT allowed on Wink Platform:

Content that is impersonating someone you are not;
Poor-quality or photos where your face is not visible;
No Snapcodes, Snap or other social network usernames
A depiction of violence & harm;
Terrorist content;
Harassment and discrimination;
Bullying and sharing offensive materials;
Advertising and solicitation;
Illegal content and dangerous products (weapons, drugs, etc.).

Sexually explicit content.

Note that any content that is considered to be inappropriate or be posing a threat to Wink Platform users safety and wellbeing will be removed from the app.

Tips on how to make a good quality content:

Show off yourself. Use your own photos and show the world who you are. Avoid posting photos of celebrities, bloggers or anyone else who is not you.
It is cool to upload photos without masks or filters, where your face is clearly visible. People like talking to people, not shirtless torsos or heavily photoshopped pictures.
Share photos that express a positive mood. Let’s keep it friendly here.
Everyone is respected on Wink Platform, so post content that does not harass or discriminate against others.
Use Wink Platform for getting to know people and making friends, not selling things.
Avoid any private information (including phone numbers, social media IDs and screens, financial information, addresses etc.) in the content you share.
